Gran Turismo Sport's beta started a little while back, but only a very small selection of people got in. Now it seems developer Polyphony Digital is ready to expand the starting grid, as we're seeing lots of reports of Americans who are suddenly getting access to the 13GB server stress test. You'll know you're in if you get a message from PlayStation on your PlayStation 4's dashboard; it should appear in the Notifications menu.
Apparently a couple of people from Europe have also got access, though our understanding is that the beta hasn't expanded that far just yet – it could just be Europeans using American accounts, we suppose. It's all anecdotal at the moment, but it's pretty clear to us that the floodgates are finally starting to open on this beta, which will hopefully pave the way for a final release date. Let us know if you got in.

Damn, didn't even know there was a beta to register for. Guessing it's too late to register now...?
@SegaBlueSky Links are through here for EU and NA, worth a shot: https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2017/03/gran_turismo_sports_closed_ps4_beta_goes_green_from_17th_march
@get2sammyb Ah great thanks for that, fingers crossed!
I squee'd with joy seeing that notification yesterday
@NathanUC How are you finding it?
@get2sammyb I miss the driving lines for sure (and I don't understand those triangles). I'm not sure if I can find a way to enable them or if it's just not part of the beta. Otherwise, I'm loving it! I already got stuck in a time trial trance with that GT-R
@NathanUC oh, I'm jealous ^^ signed up for the EU beta but haven't received a code yet. Fingers crossed ^^
