Crack open a few bottles of space beer and get ready to chat up some aliens at the wrap party, because Mass Effect: Andromeda has gone gold. Developer BioWare has confirmed over on Twitter that the anticipated sci-fi role-playing release is ready to ship, meaning that the game ain't going to get delayed again. Hurrah!
Andromeda is launching on the 21st March in North America and the 23rd March in Europe. Truth be told, we've been a little wary of the title for a while now, but a string of very positive previews have got us interested in the intergalactic adventure all over again. The recent gameplay trailers certainly haven't looked bad, either.

@renankj - I really do feel like 2017 is going to be a year to remember in gaming. It's very strong on paper but we will have to wait and see how it plays out.
@Splat same here. For me especially, as a March birthday child, it is one hell of a month for my wallet. I am getting the Nintendo Switch with Zelda, Horizon and Mass Effect. What a time for RPG lovers

i have it ordered, but the more i see of it, the less enthusiastic i'm becoming.. not sure whether the switch to frostbite makes it seem more like a dice game from the combat perspective, or whether the protagonist and supporting cast don't, for the moment, seem anywhere near as interesting as shepard and her/his squad. still going to get it though..

Very excited for this. Let's just hope it's not speckled with EA's paywall & microtransaction tentacles. Let's hope BioWare was able to do their awesome magic in this!
