The wait gets harder
Persona 5 is still looking bloody brilliant then, judging by this fresh PlayStation 4 gameplay from PlayStation Access. The channel's caught seven minutes of spoiler-free footage as the Phantom Thieves make their way through an early dungeon. Seeing the combat system completely uncut has made us realise just how slick the whole thing is.

The battle menu is super slick, man I can't wait for april to come.
Yes, I'm finding the wait very difficult.
Tekken 7 is more painful though. P5 has a release date at least. T7 has been in arcades for almost 2 years without one in sight.
@DerMeister We have very similar tastes it seems. I assume Tekken 7 will land around March. Wouldn't be surprised if we got a confirmed date next month.
This is easily my most aniticipated game, but I haven't watched any trailers for it. I want to go into it completely blind and just soak it in. It's been tough but I've been strong!

@ShogunRok Um...it looks like Persona 5 isn't the last PS3 game. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III has been confirmed for the aging console.
I have not played any of these JRPG's until last week when I finally started playing my Shin Megami Tensei IV I have been sitting on for a year.
Now im excited to get Tokyo Mirage Sessions and now this!!!! Might look for Persona 4 also.
This is shaping up to be THE JRPG to beat this gen. As far as I'm concerned, Atlus is the new master of the genre.
Looks great, so did P4G. I just found 4 to be a wee bit too restrictive. Hopefully P5 is a little bit more open.. Or at least that the dungeons are a more interested.
@ShogunRok I'm guessing the same, maybe February at the earliest. A recent event had the game on console, so a release date has to be in the cards soon.
Okay okay. I've liked the past trailers but still didn't really get how the game played. This has me more excited and interested. Not day one - but I can definitely see me picking this up next year.
