Jeeeeeeeeez Bandai Namco, are you serious? Yesterday, the publisher confirmed that Digimon World: Next Order was coming West in early 2017. Great, we thought. The press release only mentioned that it was heading to the PlayStation 4, so naturally, we assumed that it was going to be exclusive to Sony's current-gen console in North America and Europe.
Then, last night, we reported on an updated press release from Bandai Namco, which stated that the game would, in fact, be coming to Vita as well as PlayStation 4. Happy times!
Except it sounds like that press release was wrong, too. A third press release has been sent out, which, according to Gematsu, claims that Digimon World: Next Order will be available "exclusively for PlayStation 4". If that's not a punch in the gut for Vita fans, we don't know what is.
We swear, if Bamco sends out an updated, updated, updated press release, we're going home early.

@Fight_Teza_Fight Basically my reaction when I saw this third press release.
You put your left leg in
Your left leg out
Good! I have a Vita, but if this is the price to have an updated version with more digimon, better framerate (it was pathetic on vita), maybe a new chapter and something else I'm very happy with the result..
That's fine by me. I won't be supporting any future Digimon releases, including this one.
Sorry for anyone who was looking forward to playing a Vita game on their Vita, though.
Oh w*llies.
.......
Sigh.....
I'm waiting for #4 confirming vita.
@Cassetticons I wish this site's comments had a point system. Take all of my imaginary points.
Be militant like I will be over Gravity Rush 2. Get it but only play it on your Vita via remote play.
In a certain light Vita has had more releases than PS4 that way. And with the L2/R2 triggers you don't miss out on gameplay.
I just pray they add more digimon.....cant we have a digimon game with 400 digimon at least 300.
