Okay, this should be the last Berserk story for today, much to the relief of anti-anime editor Sammy Barker. Hot on the heels of fresh PlayStation 4 screenshots - which you can peruse through here - Koei Tecmo has revealed that the upcoming hack and slasher will indeed be releasing this year here in the West - this autumn, to be more specific. Prior to this announcement, only the Japanese version of the game had a confirmed 2016 launch date.
The Warriors-style action title is coming to both PS4 and Vita in North America and Europe. The home console release will be available both at retail and via the PlayStation Store, while handheld enthusiasts will have to settle for the digital version only.
Are you glad that we don't have to wait too long for this one? Feel free to go berserk in the comments section below.

Looks like this will be a Christmas present, game looks great, loved all the Warriors games that have released this gen, not a bad one imo.
@stocko I think the last time Omega Force made an outright bad game was a long, long time ago. Solid developer, even if its projects are... samey!
@ShogunRok you know what they say, "don't fix what isn't broke". Some developers like omega force, Ttgames and telltale can make the same game over and over again with just anothet theme or story and it never feels old or even in the cases of the 3 companies I named it never feels repetitive.
@darkswabber I agree, I love the Warriors series, and everyone has even improved on the formula, or is just really fun! Like Samurai Warriors and One Piece Pirate Warriors, yes they are fundamentally the same, but play so much differently aswell. I love beating the crap out of people using unique characters and their special moves.
@ShogunRok Very true, it think the last 'bad' one was Fist of the North Star Kens Rage 2, it had a brilliant story, but dumbed down gameplay, even for a Musou title. But other than that, they have been solid. One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and Samurai Warriors 4 are my personal favourites!
No Guts No Glory. No Pain No Gain.
One for all, all for one. Riders on the range.
You know, for a supposedly "dead" console, the Vita sure has had quite a few games announced for it lately.
Digital version only. Digital version only. Every time there's a Vita release its digital version only.
Do these developers not understand the max memcard is capped at 64gb (and even that must be imported from Japan)
Unleased...
i dont trust it after arsland warriors of legend being short
I'm wondering what property in Guts's possession will be "unleased". Just joshing.
I hope that covers at least until the Millennium Falcon Empire, at worst, at best it will reach even the Fantasia arc.
Happy to see some ps vita support. Keep to coming.
