Fresh from the success of Dark Souls III, it appears From Software is beginning to look to the future. The Japanese developer – which is fast approaching its 30th anniversary – uploaded a video to its YouTube channel, teasing the platforms that it will be working on next. Among those listed are the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.
In a recent interview with Taiwanese website GNN Gamer, famed director Hidetaka Miyazaki stressed once again that the Souls series is now over, and that his team has already started work on a new intellectual property. We assume there's no chance of a Bloodborne sequel either? Oh well, we're interested to see what the studio's cooking all the same.

The most exciting developer to get involved with VR to date I would say. They really do make incredibly fun and immersive games.

no more dark souls breaks my heart... we better get a Demon Souls and Dark Souls 1 remaster on PS4 next year!
If ds3 is the last souls game I will be gutted. Not that ds3 is bad, its superb! I just love the series so much that I want more.
@get2sammyb Or King's Field. I mean, it IS a first person RPG after all. Heck, I even heard that From was making another possible RPG for the Ps4.

Seems like Sony is determined to get renowned developers to make VR exclusive games, what with DICE, Double Fine and now FromSoftware.
A Bloodborne 2 is still a possibility as far as I know; I believe Sony had a '3 exclusive games' contract with them. If Dark Souls has indeed saw its last iteration, I'd rather go for a Demon Souls sequel to be honest and I think commercially it would be smarter too.
Otogi 3, and not for PSVR, hipsters.......Otogi 1 and 2 for the Xbox are probably my favorite FromSoftware titles, granted I don't care for Souls.
I also wouldn't mind seeing a mech / Core game.

@SoulsBourne128 Yep this exactly. Many have all but forgotten the roots of the Souls series, Kings Field. While it had some design issues, it was still HIGHLY underrated. Difficult? Kings Field did difficult well before Demons Souls was a though in anyone's mind. Absolutely loved the Kings Fields games and being first person makes me think a complete kings field reboot would be absolutely amazing in VR. Of course the obvious choice is a Mech Style game, which would certainly work well in VR, but considering their recent success in the fantasy themed genre I think Kings Field would be the better choice for their current rabid fan base.

What ever Hidetaka and his team do next i just hope they dont ignore the loyal fans that have opened their wallets time and time again and helped make from the foftware the company they are today. I understand their probable fatigue with the souls series but that doesnt mean their fans should be ignored as if the demand is there then the right thing to do is supply.
I would love to see Armored Core on PS VR. But they did say 'new' ip. Seems clear they want to make an entirely new universe now which is fine by me.
