Remember those ridiculously handsome 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4 consoles from last year? We sure do. In fact, we haven't stopped salivating over them since they were first shown. If, like us, you're still frantically searching in vain for one of the elusive machines, you may be in luck, as Sony of Australia is auctioning one off for charity on eBay as we speak.
The console features signatures from Naughty Dog creatives Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, as well as co-presidents Christophe Balestra and Evan Wells. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Sony Foundation, the platform holder's charity arm which has been supporting Australian Youth for over a decade.

This particular campaign, YouCan, aims to fund specialized youth cancer centres and services around Australia. Will you be bidding for this incredibly rare item? Let us know in the comments below.

Its a nice gesture and I hope it raises a lot for the charity.
I really don't like the 20th anniversary console myself. I maybe the only one but its just 'grey' and 'dull' and wouldn't fit into my colour scheme. I think the U4 console is rather dull too...
It's nice I really want one and good luck for the charity but i'd have to scrub the writing off it make's it look tatty, I don't understand why anyone would want any game's developer's name's scribbled all over their console. I suppose it's for the kind of people that would treat celebrity's like god's and I abhore that kind of attitude. I believe these console's were selling for silly money anyway and that's without the graffiti so it should do well at least.
If I had that kind of funds I would be pleased to. Goes toward a good cause, and is one neck of a piece of memorabilia. I mean, if I bought it I would never turn it on, instead I would build a plexiglass wall frame for it and sneak in a line of the ps4 blue led (the pulsing blue light which should be the on color but anyways...) at the bottom to light it in a nice soft blue. Sadly I like so many others missed out on the 20th anny console, but I guess I will make do with the 2 20th anny controllers I have. Oh well. First world problems.
Vandals!
Wow these bad boy's sell for well over £1000 on ebay anyway lol, I wonder if these people even turn them on after they buy em.
Having it signed kinda ruins it for me to be honest.
Hope the charity goes well though.
@BAMozzy I haven't really been a fan of most PS4 variants. The Batman one was super lackluster for me. I had high hopes for that one. I know other people like it but I have to wonder how much of that is people just liking Batman. Haha.
The Destiny one is cool, I don't like the gold though.
@glassmusic The Taken King edition PS4 is one I do like. I think it actually looks 'classy' compared to most that are kind of plain. The Darth Vader one is OK but I prefer the all black standard. Most look quite 'tacky' and 'cheap' - the U4 one is in this bracket.
Having all black components means that anything other than black looks out of place. I would never have a white console or controller as they show up marks. I would prefer matte black as gloss shows up finger prints....
@BAMozzy Yeah, that's the Destiny one I had in mind. I do like that one other than gold. Definitely the best variant I've seen. I wanted so badly to see an awesome Batman PS4, but nope. Same goes for Uncharted, and the Darth Vader one (which looks like it just has a sticker from a mall kiosk on it).
I hear ya about the full-on white models. My second PS3 was the white one, and that didn't turn out well. Not only does it show marks, it shows dust. It looks like a hairy turd within a few days of cleaning it.
