Fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have been eagerly awaiting news of Geralt's final adventure for months now, but developer CD Projekt Red hasn't had much to say on the matter. All that we know for sure is that the expansion, titled Blood and Wine, is still set to launch at some point this year.
However, according to Polish website GRYOnline, the add-on may be releasing a lot sooner than anticipated. As spotted by NeoGAF, the publication has the expansion pegged for launch on the 26th April. Too good to be true?
Of course, this could easily be a simple mistake, but given that the Polish studio has been open about its projects with its home nation's gaming press in the past, the site may be privy to some insider knowledge. In any case, we'll likely hear more in the near future - whether this is true or not.
Would you be hyped if this information turned out to be accurate? Draw both swords in the comments section below.

I'm excited more for this than any other game.
So thats Dark Souls III, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4 and the huge Witcher expansion. What an awesome month.
To be honest, by the time I got to the end of Witcher 3 I'd had enough.
Great game overall but combat and looting were poor imo. Doubt I'll be going back with the big amount of other stuff there is coming up and in my backlog...
One of the best of the decade so far!, yes, even better than Journey.
It will have to wait til after Ratchet and Clank for me. Still havnt finished the first expansion yet 😧
Loved the game and finished it but haven't found time for the 1st DLC, in no hurry for the larger one : p
I'm 2 hours in. Oh lord how will I find the time.
Quit Job, Disown Children or Forsake the housework for 3.2 years?
Beyond pumped! Believe it or not, I may have actually managed to run out of things to do in Witcher 3.
I miss Geralt! Looking forward to spend some time with him and his friends again.

Go to the world map screen, click triangle for the filters, and turn off undiscovered locations (the ?). It helps you keep focus on the quests and whatever you may run across outside of that, well, it's a surprise.......this method should help you save quite a bit of time while remaining level up (as long as you do some secondary quests and Witcher contracts here and there).
I can't freaking wait...
I absolutely love The Witcher 3! It's easily the best RPG I have played this generation. As much as I love Fallout 4 its world doesn't come close to The Witchers world. The world of the Witcher actually seems more real and lived in.
Though having said that I won't be getting the expansion if it does release in April. That month is already going to be an expensive one due to Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, DOOM and I think Mirrors Edge 2. We also have Dark Souls 3 due out around that time.
This is why I have decided to pass on The Division this week. There are just too many top games due for release and I would rather play those over The Division.
@SuperSilverback Yeah Ratchet & Clank looks really good! I love The Witcher 3, but I haven't finished it yet, which is fine because I like to make my RPG's last for aslong as possible. I've still only done five main quests in Fallout 4 as I've just been doing side quests and exploring. I also like to bounce between The Witcher and Fallout. They're my goto Sunday games
Witcher dlc or uncharted. My life is full off hard decisions.
If this is as good as the "heart or stone" dlc, then witcher dlc wins.
Uncharted will have to wait.
That's not good timing, I want to play this but I may wait to get it, with Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted 4 out at around that time my gaming diary will be full for quite a while
@themcnoisy Take 2 weeks off work, tell your family you are away on business and stop in a hotel until you complete the Witcher? If you aren't willing to make that compromise then you're not a REAL gamer
@mrobinson91 Haha I am a real gamer but until the wife goes back to work, I'm real skint.
@sub12 Thanks I will do that, top tip.
