Mortal Kombat X has been one of the biggest sellers of 2015, so it's no surprise that NetherRealm has decided to extend DLC support for the fighter. And according to series creator Ed Boon, a new challenger will arrive during The Game Awards this week, with the release set to feature as one of Geoff Keighley's ten premieres.
It'll be interesting to see whether the developer dives back into the brand's archives, or cooks up some more crossover characters like Jason Voorhees. All we really know right now is that four combatants will be added throughout 2016, as Warner Bros attempts to profit on its best-selling brawler. Who would you like to face next? Excellent! Love this entry in the franchise, and MK is a series so ridiculous that guest fighters never seem really out of place. Nonetheless, I'd be partial to a legacy character (Sektor/Cyrax, Kabal, or Shang Tsung would get my vote) or an entirely new one. Interested to see what they announce!
they should add freddy kreuger and xenomorph! freddy X jason and alien vs predator!
I assume that those will not be free for Season Pass owners?
I'm hoping for Noel Edmonds.
@Churchy I want this with a finishing move that involves opening boxes 😃😃😃
I keep meaning to pick this up so hopefully they'll have something to entice me
I hope more MK characters instead of crossover characters.
Only bad thing is that it will take a while for them to release the Komplete Edition.
I'm pretty sure it was already confirmed that it would be Rain, Baraka and Meat joining the roster. Now I'm just hoping Alien will burst it's way into MK X, so we can finally decide if Alien of Predator is really the best.

@belmont Very unlikly It wasn't even considered a season pass but a Kombat Pack. So most likely it will be Kombat pack 2. For the price the 1st one was. I'd rather wait for a Komplete Edition of the game.
