Sony's upcoming Shadow of the Beast reboot may have been in development for approximately 8,000 years, but it's really shaping up. This brand new trailer released to coincide with Paris Games Week shows some colourful new locales and more bloody murder than you can shake a pointy fist at. The game's available to pre-order now from the PlayStation Store – even though no launch date has been announced.
In addition to a sweeping campaign, the Heavy Spectrum developed brawler will also include a survival mode, which will see you putting your button bashing skills to the test. We got some hands-on time with this earlier in the year and reckon that it's coming along nicely – but much like RIME and No Man's Sky, we'd rather see a release date than anything else.

I want this to be good, but I'm not sure from what I've seen so far.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Yes, I agree, Vita all the way.
Predator ripoff ... Not impressed about gameplay eather...
I like the look of it but I don't think the UI suits the game's artstyle.
I'm on the fence with this game. It looks and seemingly plays well. But I just don't think I'd enjoy the game play style.
@Jocinetu Predator rip-off? How so? I don't remember the original much, apart from its difficulty but can't recall any similarity to Predator?
It's so.... bloody.
fight his way from ancient through future? like what I've seen...
@Jocinetu The dude has blades on his arms, that's about as close as it gets to Predator
I feel like I'm watching a God of War that's made by the MK guys.
@Neolit lol I remember being blown away by the parallax scrolling on the Amiga. It was so good I'd spend time walking left and right just to make the background move at different speeds!
