"Yes, finally"

How do you better an already impressive slate of PlayStation 4 exclusives in 2016? You slather the next Gran Turismo on top. Announced during Sony's Paris Games Week presser, and named Gran Turismo Sport to be precise, the game promises to be the "most realistic driving simulator to date" – pushing visuals and physics to their limits.

Interestingly, the game will boast two FIA sanctioned championships, which will see you racing for both your nation and favourite manufacturer. Winners will collect their prizes alongside esteemed real-world drivers like Lewis Hamilton, blurring the lines between real and virtual racing once more. Speaking of which, it'll feature PlayStation VR support.

There's no official release date just yet, but beta testing will begin in Spring 2016, with a release date likely to follow later in the year. Sony must be rubbing their hands over the sales potential for this one.
