You'e going to be hearing a lot of quirky British accents while hacking and slashing your way through Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below, as evidenced by the 15 minutes of gameplay that we've embedded in this article. Courtesy of Square Enix's let's play series, we get to see a lengthy endgame battle that's full of devastating magic attacks and beefy monsters.
To go along with the gameplay, community manager Dan Seto is on hand to talk about how the title differs from other Omega Force productions. We often see people comparing Dragon Quest Heroes to games like Dynasty Warriors, and while there are definite similarities in the sense that you'll be slicing your way through entire enemy armies, it's clear that this collaboration is much more focussed on the role-playing side of things. Of course, you'd probably expect this from a Dragon Quest release in the first place.
With the game only a month or so away, we'll hopefully be bringing you some hands-on impressions in the near future. Until then, let us know how you think it looks in the comments section below.

A lot of people who were acting like Hyrule Warriors was nothing more than "Dynasty Warriors in a skin" are about to see for themselves how wrong an assumption that is.
If they put even half the care into Dragon Quest Heroes as they did Hyrule Warriors, we're in for one of the top games this fall.
People who played both said this was better.
Looks great. I love Toriyama's designs and seeing them in this level of graphical fidelity is a treat for the eyes. This lines up quite nicely since I've just platted Pirate Warriors 3 and have eventually moved onto playing MGSV. I've got just over 3 weeks before DQH comes out now.
Can you direct your party members or do they generally attack the same target your attacking?
@WanderingBullet Don't quote me on this but I think you can give them directions. Like you can tell individual members to focus on healing, etc. They do tend to follow you around, though.
@ShogunRok Yeah, I recalled the player healing Lucius as well as Dirk and the party himself but it'll be nice if it does include the option to direct your members to focus on certain actions.
