Call of Duty: Black Ops III's big PlayStation 4 beta should have ended by now, but developer Treyarch's keeping the servers open for one more day. You'll be able to wall run your way through a handful of maps as part of the stress test, while also testing out the new Specialists system, which sees you play as a series of super soldiers.
The sampler will stay online until 22:00PM PT later today, and those that participate will unlock a free theme and calling card for their player profiles come launch. This author had a little play with the shooter last night, and ended with a KDR somewhere in the region of 0.1. Yeah, we'll have full impressions from a series veteran later this week.

Got to have my go. I like call of duty so I found this interesting I didn't really get the time I need to learn maps and how to counter campers and specialist. I hope this will be possible when I've learnt them, it's a beta so I suffered some lag. The majority of the time I really liked the gun mechanics the grenade and flash bang toss seemed a little light weight, I didn't manage much more than a 7-8 kill streak I think partially because I run round so much and there were a few campers on maps I'm not used to, but not loads. I couldn't tell but I'm praying there are some machine pistols I can use akimbo. I didn't see much wall running in my time playing but this may just be that it hasn't been learnt yet. Will still be getting this launch day as I enjoy the pick up and play that I can fit in in my hectic lifestyle. I know it's not for everyone but for me it's ronsil it does what it says in the tin. If you don't like COD and the way it's going this won't change your opinion
I think it's probably the worst COD game I've ever played and that's saying something. The franchise fatigue is really starting to set in now.
@stevie85 you must not have played ghosts or advanced warfare then
@golden_dolphin I did and I didn't care for either. This franchise really needs a break.
It really is mehness personified. Battlefront makes it look very amateur indeed. I didn't expect much at all and in that respect I'm certainly not disappointed.
I never played Ghost's or AV but Black Op's 3 is pretty good the beta's been great fun GJ guy's thank's for the free beta might hit 49 by the time the beta's over only 4 more level's to go shame you guy's didn't like it i'm sure Star War's Hardline will be great.....
@xMEADx It probably will be great. Rather play anything DICE make over Infinity Ward/Treyarch
My son quit playing the beta, opting to play AW instead. Not a ringing endorsement.
@lacerz damn that sux, nevermind at least it's a game off your xmas list my kid's loved it on their PS4 and have played nothing else all weekend and seeing as our PS4's are linked I'll only need one digital copy and we can play together this xmas happy day's
Ghosts I found the worst as it was just boring and slow.
AW was interesting but too hectic, you could have fun on it but most deaths I felt like I couldn't avoid as you'd get shot from anywhere.
BOps3 has struck a sort of middle ground by utilising double jumping and wall running but making things slower so everything feel more deliberate.
Wall running is more for getting around the map and you feel pretty vulnerable doing it.
After getting to about level 8 everything clicked and I found I was quite enjoying it, I could play it like any old CoD and just use wall running to get into windows or across maps faster.
Exactly peach. It doesn't even look decent.
