You may not be able to play Uncharted 4: A Thief's End until next year, but you can look at its box art. IGN spotted the cover on an Amazon product listing, and it looks pretty legit to us. Of course, the downside is that we've seen the image before – but who could ever tire of protagonist Nathan Drake's immaculately angular jaw?
Interestingly, there's no sign of the usual Sony Computer Entertainment logo, but this has been true of all first-party PlayStation 4 releases thus far. Naughty Dog recently tweeted that it had been holding internal play sessions for the shooter's multiplayer mode – expect to hear more about that at E3 2015 in a couple of weeks' time.

I know I'm in a minority but Uncharted just doesn't excite me! I've played and enjoyed all the games but somehow I don't find myself really looking forward to each iteration. Of course I'll be getting this at launch, though
@kyleforrester87 i feel the same same, im really not hyped for uncharted
^ I on the other hand am massively hyped for this like beyond belief haha
It's going to be amazing...
This is easily my most anticipated game of 2016 (so far) and unless or until something special and big gets announced for 2016 this will remain top of my list. Even if Fallout 4 arrives next year.
I doubt any 'exclusive' on any platform will top this as my most anticipated and wanted game
@kyleforrester87 Join the club. Generic action adventure game with beautiful graphics. Does nothing better than other games in the genre, jack of all trades and master of none. They're never bad, not at all, they're just never anything special. But all fanboys cream over any first party games and make out they're the dogs doodahs (you'd think Killzone and Halo were GoldenEye 007 x Half Life x Quake if you listen to some).
@rastamadeus thing is if it had elements that appeal to me a little more, I.e perhaps scifi, I'd be more inclined to lap it up. I just don't really dig the whole Indiana jones thing. But they are usually worth a good look in terms of narrative clout and of course for the graphics.
Is it that hard to come up with an interesting box art? FFS stop with the gun toting depressed dudebros. Anyway lets get it over with so they can make new IP or TLoU 2.
@kyleforrester87 I'm right there with you. It's a series that I enjoy but I'm not hung up over it or anything.
Hey, it's one of those box arts where the hero poses in the middle, head down looking like the business! Don't see those very often. What's next; a box art where the hero poses in the middle, facing away from you? No, that would be just too awesome for human consumption, surely?
@kyleforrester87 I feel the same way. I could never get into Uncharted, but I'm willing to give it another chance.
I love Uncharted games, but after being disappointed by 3 I am not that eager for this one. Need to see more to see if they are really changing up the formula a bit.
Boxart's meh. It's the same promo shot we've seen thousands of times now.
Doesn't ruin my excitement of the game though. Hope E3 gives us something good.
I can't wait to play Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider as they're both great ip's, despite what some people on here are saying.
I love Uncharted, and I'm very excited for this one.
Just wanted to let everyone know, Playstation mobile store has/had (depending on when you read this) a banner ad for "uncharted" the Nathan Drake collection. The link goes nowhere but still...I'd attach the screenshot I took with my phone but I'm a tad challenged.
@kyleforrester87 The series needed a long break to come up with something other than more of the same but prettier. I'm a huge Indy fan (childhood obsession) and when I first got a PS3 I was lead to believe this was the closest a game had come to that and although there was nothing wrong with the game - or its sequels - there's nothing that makes it stand out. Naughty Dog should've left the series (like they have history of after each console) or in a few years let someone else have a crack at it. As it is, for all the hype they and the Uncharted fans are trying to build around it, it's not really being spoke about like anything special is happening (like U3 and TLOU mistakenly (imo) were). Feel this game was commissioned by executives, not the developers.
@BigDaddyT0101 One of the guys behind the series Tweeted something like 'that broke earlier than expected, see you in the morning' so it is real and likely revealed in the afternoon (gmt). Sony better have much, much more for Christmas than a(nother) collection of games looking slightly prettier but also available on PS Now and on PS3 collectively for under £20. And I wonder why I'm falling out of love with gaming and haven't touched my ps4 for over five weeks...
Maybe playing the Uncharted trilogy will make me a fan...
You guys are crazy... How could you not be excited for this game?! Both 2 and 3 were masterpieces of action adventure games, set pieces, graphics and story telling. Are you saying you weren't blown away by the train sequence (either of them), or the tank battle in the village in 'charted 2? Or the lost in the desert scene and jeep/horse chase in 3? I will admit that I was beginning to get franchise fatigue after uncharted 3 ended but it's been 5 YEARS guys. Naughty Dog don't release anything less than excellent games, so I think it's okay to be excited. Having said that, Fallout 4.... That's what I really want!
