Shawn Layden pretty much cemented his place in the E3 hall of fame after Sony's ridiculously good E3 2015 press conference. The executive's still relatively new to taking the reigns at the Los Angeles show, but with a snappy script, and some spot-on speaking backed by plenty of utterly mindblowing announcements, the company bigwig made his presence felt. Oh, and his beard's a decent look, too.
Speaking during Sony's post-conference live coverage, Layden said that the company's E3 mantra was "less talk, more game". He goes on to say that the Japanese firm was adamant to spend more time showing software, rather than talking about it - and we reckon that it succeeded. "Let the games talk for themselves", he stated.
Do you agree with him, or do you think that Sony could have arguably done more? Watch the full interview that we've embedded, and let us know if you're growing a beard in the comments section below.

They did plenty, end of story. That E3 showing was the greatest thing I've personally seen so far in E3 history.
Let's hope they remember that.
My guess is when they were in planning they went back and watched last year's show and all fell asleep during Shawn Layden's corporate PR rambling. Good strategy to change things up this year.
They did an amazing job, best E3 ever. Keep it up. Can't wait to see Quantic Dream's new IP, Sucker Punche's new IP, and Sony Bend's new IP at Paris Games week and PSX.
