As expected, Dark Souls III has been officially announced. The breaking news comes courtesy of - ahem - the Xbox E3 presser, though don't worry, it's not an Xbox exclusive and we'll still be able to get our puny little arses whipped just as badly as our Xbox brethren.
There's no solid release date right now, but the teaser did state that the game would be releasing 'early 2016', so it's not that long of a wait.

I have to say it, some of the xbox announcements i actually thought were very good. Backwards compatibility is huge and mods for fallout 4. I really hope sony brings its a game
@Mrskinner I really hope Sony does, I fear they may be getting complacent with being top dog and with MS fighting an uphill battle they may take the lead trying to catch up.
I have high hopes for this E3 but only because it'll show us whether Sony is really gonna try to wow us this year.
Sony needs to step it up for sure. Microsoft had some good stuff at their press event.
