Details, please?

Gearbox Software's new game, Battleborn, is set to cause a bit of a ruckus at E3 next month – or at least, that's what the president of Take-Two Interactive, Gearbox's publisher, had to say.

In the words of Mr. Karl Slatoff himself: "Battleborn is a first-person shooter with a deep roster of unique playbook heroes. Through the game's accelerated character growth system, every hero can be fully experienced in a single story mode mission or multiplayer match. Next month, Battleborn will be at E3 in a big way, and we will have more news to share about the title prior to the show."

The news was announced during an earnings call earlier in the week, so it's only natural that the details are a bit hazy. Still, we're curious what this alluded character growth system is all about, so here's to that. How about you? Will you be jumping into Gearbox's pseudo-MOBA, pseudo-shooter, or is that just not your cup of tea? Sound off in the comments below.
