Ultra Street Fighter IV should, in theory, have made the jump to the PlayStation 4 seamlessly. Sony's Third-Party Productions team worked with Other Ocean Interactive to bring the acclaimed Capcom brawler to the new-gen system, and while it's bumped up the release's resolution, it hasn't really done a whole lot else with the package.
However, early reports show that the transition has been anything but smooth, as the title has several serious problems, including input lag, framerate issues, and more. Fortunately, the platform holder's already on the case, announcing that "patch investigations are underway". Fingers crossed it all gets sorted soon, eh?
To be honest, the Japanese giant's got its work cut out here, as fighting game tournament EVO starts on 17th July – and the PS4 version of Ultra Street Fighter IV is supposed to be the main attraction. With pro players seriously unhappy with this new version, the manufacturer has no choice but to get it up to scratch over the next six weeks.
Update (11:00AM BST): EVO's since said that it's now considering which version of Ultra Street Fighter IV to use, while the PS4 version's been pulled from Capcom's Pro Tour.

This is embarrassing for all involved and rightly so; such a substandard port should never have seen the light of day for whatever reason.
Good lord, they went and pulled out from the tour already? This has been a huge flop for Sony.
