Good news for all of you Elder Scrolls fans, as invites for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited beta on PlayStation 4 are going out right now. Like, right now, as we sit here typing this.

Being sent via email, the invites will provide you with a download code for the beta. Places are limited, however, so don't get your hopes up too high as you desperately rummage through those spam folders.

As for the details, there's no NDA on the beta - which means that you can freely share screenshots, and, if you're like us, write all about it - and there'll be two mega servers up and running - one for Europe, and one for North America. What's more, you'll be able to pick which of those suits you best.

Perhaps the most exciting part, though, is that this beta test encompasses the entire game, meaning that, if you're quick enough, you could end up seeing a rather hefty chunk of the full release before the beta is over. However, it's worth noting that your progress won't carry over to the finished game, and will be wiped when the beta concludes. It's also mentioned over on the official PlayStation Blog that you should start downloading as soon as possible if you receive an invite. To us, that sounds like it could be a pretty big file.
