What better way to start your day than with a bundle of rather good looking Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness screenshots? Not much information has been given on the action role-playing game yet, since it was revealed just last week, so these new images are easily our best glimpse of the release so far.
Sporting a nice art style, the cast and their surrounding environments look quite impressive, and battles seem suitably action-packed. For a title that's being developed on the ageing PlayStation 3 and ported to the PlayStation 4, we must admit that it certainly scrubs up quite well, and it'll be interesting to see how the final product differs from these relatively early pictures.

This looks pretty freaking impressive. I hope this game turns out good. I'm definitely interested, since it's about time some good JRPGs started coming to PS4.
The art style looks better than the previous ones which always put me off.

Gorgeous.
Is this confirmed for an NA/EU release then?
@irken004 Not yet, and it'll probably be a while before we get any confirmation. As far as we know, the game's not very far into development yet.
Looks great, but this game being announced a few days ago reminded me that I still haven't played a game in this series. I have the PSP remakes of 1 and 2, so I should get to that sometime before this comes out.
I didn't even know they were making a new SO game. I guess that's one reason to get a PS4 eventually.
Wow this looks awesome. I'm right there with you @Storytime7. I haven't played one of these yet so I need to get on that.
It looks nice. Here's to hoping we don't get puppet mouths this time. (Last Hope, looking at you.)
This looks promising. Hope they don't do something silly near the end of the story. Like they did in 'Till the End of Time'. That story was pretty good until you discovered what was actually going on.
Well, I'm in.
@ShogunRok - I read a "30%" qoute last week somewhere about how far along they were. Seems kinda crazy to be 30% done in 2015 w/ a PS3 game. PS4 must have been announced when they started.
@Expa0 - Or you could just play it on the console they are making it for, PS3. They said PS4 version would be a port.
@Ellysetta19 - I actually really liked the twist the story took at the end. What I didnt like was how the twist occurred after many hours of game play but then ended right after, I think the game needed another 1/3 or quater to flesh that out.
@rjejr Yeah at 30% you've got to imagine that we're looking at assets - and not much else. Got to say, though, it looks promising for a game that's supposedly so early in development.
@ShogunRok - I thought Last Hope had some of the best graphics on PS3, and that came out 6 years ago, so if they just spent the past few years tweaking that engine they should be able to get something pretty amazing.
Definitely looks much better than The Last Hope Barbie Doll looking character models...
Can't help but wonder what it'd look like if third parties would drop the damn PS3 already.
