So, the System of a Down crossover continues, as Mortal Kombat X's launch trailer was directed by the band's bassist Shavo Odadjian. He's the one with the beard that's better plaited than a pageant girl's hair, by the way. We jest, but we quite like the editing – especially in the first "I don't think you trust" chorus section.
The game's just over a week away from release on the PlayStation 4 now. Can we all agree that it looks utterly ridiculous in a good way yet – or is that still considered sacrilegious?

I went from my local shop earlier, they said they will have it today! At the moment I have spend the day sitting next to my phone and eating my nails...
Can't wait for it!
Awesome trailer, cannot wait to get this next week as a belated birthday gift!
@Melucine Lucky — I'm jelly!
@get2sammy I think that when they bring it I wont walk or run, I'll just teleport there
I hope it will be today, mostly to finish the story before it gets spoiled.
Did someone say Chop Suey?

Bad ass trailer. That said still more then likely going to wait for the Komplete edition or for it to go on-sale on PSN. I got the last MK for $5 on one of the PSN sales.
It was a little long, we all know what MK is.
Dear god why did the use THAT song for a Mortal Kombat trailer? Don't get me wrong, I love SOAD, but it just doesn't fit at all with the theme.
@Azikira I think it's a perfect fit?
I hope the story mode is as good as they are hyping it up to be. Because it seems amazing!
P.S. gameplay is great as always.
Storymode will be a cheesy affair, as always, but this shouldn't take away from the overall joy. One thing I noticed though is that some of the textures in the capture from the Story mode look really dull, almost like PS2-style. Anyone else notice this. Also, I never really liked SoaD and would rather have gun with some original track for the trailer.
Who the hell green lit the use of that song? Totally inappropriate, and lazy. The game looks great, but that was a rubbish trailer.
Yeah, don't really care for the song but this game does look awesome. Nice that it's almost here. I liked Injustice but MK 9 was easily the best fighting game last gen imo, so I'm interested to see how this one turns out. Story mode will be full of cheese like the last one, but I expect it will also be a good time.
I'm actually going to see SOAD tonight! It's gonna be awesome!
@get2sammyb Well to each their own. :3 Still excited either way.
