This is turning into a Dragon Ball saga of its own, isn't it? Only here, we're not fighting big baddies that threaten the safety of the universe -- we're instead waging war against Dragon Ball XenoVerse's unruly servers.
Indeed, at the time of writing, we're still having trouble connecting to the game's multiplayer lobbies, and this has been an issue since the brawler launched. Bandai Namco stated that it was performing server maintenance back on Wednesday, but it doesn't seemed to have helped an awful lot.
As a result, the servers underwent yet more maintenance earlier today, and since then, the publisher's taken to the title's official Facebook page, writing that "currently, Dragon Ball XenoVerse servers for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 have been updated with several optimizations." The post then goes on to say that "consequently, the success rate of logging in for multi-lobbies have greatly increased", but we're still seeing numerous reports of users unable to connect.
Bandai Namco promises to continue monitoring the situation, and with a little luck, we'll all be able to run around Toki Toki City together sooner rather than later. Can you get online? Protect the Earth with us in the comments section below.

Aaaaaand this is why you shouldn't preorder.
@glassmusic In this rare occasion I disagree but as a whole youre right. Server issues are inexcusable really but at least DB XV is playable in its entirety offline.
Ive had no issues in connecting to mates, but can rarely get on to the hub.
As nice as it would be not to have these server issues, it hasn't diminished the game at all for me so far. It will be nice once they're back on of course, but since none of my friends have this, I see no reason why this would be a reason not to buy this.
So this is why i was having issues last night.... well im gonna get on my PS4 soon! XenoVerse here i come!
@glassmusic I am glad i preordered it, i was guaranteed a copy, it sold out fast around here... But i guess that is to be expected when the community is tiny.
