Okay, for starters, we apologise for the terrible tagline, but worse things can happen, as evidenced by the news that Mortal Kombat X is being delayed on the PlayStation 3.
According to publisher Warner Bros., the last-gen version of the game has been pushed back to summer. Thankfully, the PlayStation 4 edition won't suffer the same fate, and is still slated for its 14th April release.

I was planning to get it on PS4, but for those that wanted the ps3 version, this sucks, especially so close to the release date.
I'm going to love playing this on ps4.
I knew it, since the Cage trailer did not show the old platforms. In any case, I still hope we get a decent version.
It's sad for PS3 players...but to me, as PS4 owner, isn't a problem.
They only figured this out a month before release? Doesn't it need to go gold in less than 2 weeks time for manufacturing and shipping? Seems like this announcement could have been made months ago, if not earlier.
On the bright side, PS3 version isn't canceled, so there's that.

We've been running into issues like this a lot this generation. If the devs think they can't properly support the older hardware with their new ideas, just don't develop for the older hardware. Problem solved. I think it's an issue of wanting that sweet sweet PS3 cash, since the user base is so much larger, but if the experience is going to be sub par (I'm looking at you, SoM) they should just skip it entirely. Those are resources that could be going into making the game that they truly want to make, even better.
I am very happy, that it comes to PS3.
I would happily pre-order it but I am worried that the multiplayer will follow what Injustice did: region lock. If you weren't in the same region as someone it would take you to character select then disconnect you, sucked. if I knew it wasn't doing that I would get the super special edition on PS4.
I still have my PS3 still an won't ever let it go, but ain't disappointed it's going to be delayed for the PS3 cause I have a PS4 oyeah..... 😤
I hope they have that song with wiz khalifa as the theme song when we start the game up

no problemo for me, was planning to get this bad boy for my PS4. Kollectors edition. Seems so long ago, when it first came out, made me enjoy the fighting game genre. I hope it succeeds.
Getting it for PS4, but still feel bad for the PS3 and 360 owners who were looking forward to the game. My guess is they know the current gen version will sell better, at least in the NA market.
