Warriors games can sometimes look a bit bland. Perhaps it's to be expected when you've got hundreds of soldiers running about on screen, but art style and great use of colour was partly why we adored One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, and it looks like we'll be able to say the same of Dragon Quest Heroes.
The screenshots that we've embedded look especially nice, and show off old series favourites Jessica and Yangus. As you'd expect of the fearsome duo, Jessica makes use of powerful magic spells, while Yangus seems to swing his axe around like the stubby cockney that he is.

I'd play as Yangus all day, every day.
looking great, but knowing Square they will say no one wants it over here (even though we do) and end up releasing it on mobile where no one wants to play it because we want it on a proper gaming system
Reminds me a lot of Hyrule Warriors style.
Do want.
Any word on split screen couch co-op? Or online multiplayer?
@rjejr It's very likely that it'll have both. I can't think of the last Warriors game not to have some form of co-op.
@ShogunRok - Thanks. I figured it would, but it's out in less than 3 weeks and I wasn't sure if they had shown it yet. Would be really strange for it not to come to the US, don't we usually get all the Warriors games, even if they seem to be much later than Japan?
Oh, and not to promote other websites on here but according to this site's article from a week ago there is no multiplayer. Still find it hard to beleive.

"Dragon Quest Heroes, though, offers no excuse. It can be done cheaply and quickly, and it doesn’t even have multiplayer to complicate matters!
Ogasawara confirmed the lack of a multiplayer, saying “There are no plans for completely synchronous multiplayer, but we will be incorporating a fun little element that uses the network. We haven’t officially announced that yet, but I think you’ll enjoy it.”"
@rjejr That's a tricky quote, which makes things even more confusing. Like you said, it's hard to believe a Warriors game wouldn't have some form of co-op, even if it's just local. I suppose we'll know for sure soon enough.
