"This armour's really heavy"

There are absolutely no upsets in the UK Sales Charts this week, as the top five consists of five very familiar franchises. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare held onto the number one spot, but was battled all of the way by Grand Theft Auto V. Elsewhere, FIFA 15 finished in third, ahead of Ubisoft blockbusters Assassin's Creed Unity and Far Cry 4.

Discounting helped The Crew to hold onto its position in sixth, while bundles pushed DriveClub all the way back up into seventh. It wasn't the only Sony exclusive to hit the top 40 either, as LittleBigPlanet 3 and The Last of Us Remastered both occupied the 13th and 35th spots respectively. Minecraft and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham rounded out the top ten.

Don't expect too many changes to this list over the course of the coming weeks, as the industry is heading into a post-Christmas hibernation right now. Things will wake up again towards the end of January with Dying Light, but until then, you may want to take a rest yourself – or consider clearing out that increasingly enormous backlog of yours.
