We’ve played it down three times over now – but maybe, just maybe, PlayStation Experience may be worth getting hyped for after all. Sony has deployed this brand new trailer for the upcoming Las Vegas convention, which teases “exciting game announcements”. It also has that lovely pre-PlayStation 4 unveiling flavour to it, which puts the fans first in the least artificial way.
Regardless of whether the reveals turn out to be rubbish, though, it’s hard not to be enamoured with the idea of 400,000 square feet of PlayStation games, panels, contests, and more. If you want to attend, tickets will be available from 24th October through here. The event’s set to run from 6th December through 7th December, and more details will be announced in the build up. Who’s aboard the hype train, then?

@Punished_Boss_84 Haha, got to temper it. Seriously, though, they do seem to be putting a lot of effort into this. Even if the reveals end up being rubbish, I'm sure it's going to be a brilliant occasion for fans in attendance.

@Jazzer94 I doubt it. Sony doesn't seem to do the really early CGI trailer thing anymore — even if that has resulted in certain parts of the Internet acting like they've got absolutely no games in development.

Since it's a PlayStation event, I doubt there will be any big 3rd party breaking news.
Maybe Guerilla will finally unveil their new IP with some footage.
I still feel like a Syphon Filter game will make an appearance one of these days.
And I rarely say this, but if Sony is ever gonna reveal a new Vita game, this would be the time (with PSTV just being released).
Maybe Gravity Rush 2 and MM's project. If Cory Barlog is making a new GoW they would probably save that for E3 right?
Maybe Sony will anounce some interesting big indie titles for the Vita.
This is a loooong shot but how about some more of Persona 5? Since its a PS exclusive it could happen. Atlus has always done things their own way though so I'm not holding my breath
Why doesn't anyone else seem to think Sony has any other games in development? This isn't microsoft, do they know bow many studios Sony has. Sony bend, samnta Monica, quantitc dream, media molecule, a lot of studios in Sony Japan, they all have shown nothing yet this gen... So maybe they will have a game or two to announce.

A New PS4 will be revealed with full PS1 & PS2 & PS3 disc playback to celebrate '20 years of PlayStation' (well that was the dream i had last night)
I actually am aboard the hype train this time. I genuinely have a feeling that something exciting and unexpected will be announced!
For the most part over the last year my idea of exciting announcements and Sony's have differed quite a bit, I'm going to keep my expectations super low. This event can be hyped like no other even before it doesn't change the fact, it's not E3, not Gamescom, not TGS, hell it isn't even GDC. This isn't the kind of event where a company shows of the games that most will give a damn about. I expect maybe a little more about No Man's Sky and a few more indie announcements, that's it.
I'm not getting on the hype train, 3 times this year Sony has let me down at conferences and I'm not about to think this will be any different.

This is something that I said Sony should be doing, why do people think Sony need to use E3 & Gamescom to announce games? They don't need to share floor space with others, if a single studio can hold their own expo (Blizzard) then a Playstation one can.
@sackninja It's because when these events happen people expect "Uncharted gameplay, The Last Guardian & Shenmue 3 & other nonsense. So when those things don't happen they cry fowl saying "PS4 has no games" when what they really mean is " there's no games I'M interested in" which is their fault really cos personally I think we've never had it so good as gamers. No matter what your taste or preferences, there's more then enough games out there now, heck a game about a slice of bread is been made!

I noticed this particular article is pushing the boundaries to blatantly attack one another. I'm just going to move on and forget why this whole console wars is making us break in our frustrations... This site has been different the last few weeks and it doesn't get any better.
This article is going to split heads amongst people if they are not to careful to back up their claims...
@Enobmah_Shards The lack of Vita disappointed me, the lack of real 1st party IPs for PS4 disappointed me and the fact that the only PS4 games I'm now hyped for are just ports of PS3 games is just bad.

@Enobmah_Shards you say it's been getting different, but by accusing a user of trolling simply because he has stated he feels let down (read, unimpressed) by the showings at the 3 big occasions so far this year, you actually help to perpetuate a worsening atmosphere.
If someone hasn't been impressed by what's been on show so far that is entirely their opinion. These comments sections are supposed to exist to facilitate sharing and discussion of opinions, as long as they're not just outright flaming. Personally I disagree with @NaughtyOttsel22, but I wouldn't say he was trolling at all.. It's not like he's posting Sony hate on every article that gets posted, like certain ex-members of the community used to. THAT is trolling.
