LittleBigPlanet 3 is currently weeks away from making you melt, and Sony has released the wrapper for the PlayStation 4 exclusive Plush Edition, which you’ll be able to pick up from participating retailers if you pre-order the game prior to release. Featuring a six inch Sackboy teddy, as well as nine additional costumes, the bundle will come in this uber cute packaging, which features a photo of a particularly friendly face.
Judging by the Amazon product page, it looks like your copy will come with some adapted artwork, too, as the image to the right shows the game’s cast of platforming pals in different outfits to the standard cover shot. Sadly, none of these added perks appear to extend to the PlayStation 3 version. We guess that Sony’s got to make you upgrade somehow, right? Let us know if it’s working in the comments section below.

Sony should keep it kind of a secret about it coming to PS3 as well. Like how Microsoft did TitanFall and Forza Horizon 2.

I'm just getting the standard 'day one edition' at GameStop. I can't wait though, LBP Vita was an absolute joy to play and I want to start being positive about PS4 exclusives. Hopefully when this releases it makes the DriveClub disaster a distant memory.

I can't wait for this game but all this day 1 DLC stuff(for all games) is just pointless really :-/ It never excites me. I just want the basic game & i am happy
@KAPADO - Yeah, I was annoyed at first that there wasn't a PS3 bundle until I looked at what the PS4 package contained and realized I have most of it already w/ the LBP2 Special. And I'm even using the bookends to hold up all my Wii U games on the table next to our 50 Skylanders
So yes, it is a benefit for upgrading to PS4, but people who would buy this edition on PS3 probably already have most of it, so I'm ok with Sony's decision now. I'm sure we'll get the extra costumes at some point, I'm pretty sure ALL the costumes - and there were a ton of them in that LBP2 package - are now available for everyone. I can save some money and wait.

For some reason Amazon's page says it's unavailable to preorder for now at least. So, I might end up ordering this version at gamestop.

Yeah if it's the same sackboy we got with LBP2 then there's no point, shouldn't they have anticipated that fans already have it and they are the ones who are the best candidates to pay more for a LE?
