Since Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is shaping up to have such an engrossing story and world, we're stocking up on plenty of Lembas so it will sustain us in our inevitably long playing sessions starting in the next few weeks. In the meantime, you can take a peek at the latest trailer for the title that gives a bit of insight into the characters and story from the perspectives of the industry's most prominent voice actors: Nolan North and Troy Baker.
Up until this game, the PlayStation stars say that they have never worked this closely with one another, and with Baker appearing as main protagonist Talion and North as an antagonist called The Black Hand, you can tell that they really enjoyed working with each other during mo-cap sessions. They also comment on how they find it funny that people perceive them as rivals, even though they're great friends, which North immediately takes advantage of by making a disgusted expression and remarking: "Yeah, we hate each other. It's the worst."

My god, these two are everywhere! So that must mean...
They're multiplying! Run!
Is the gaming industry aware that other actors exist...
They kind look like, and sound a bit like too, if you put Delsin Rowe and Nathan Drake on a couch together. Troy Baker even has beanie on too.
Later in the year? Well I suppose Sept 30th is later in the year lol.. not by much though
I think troy baker is such an awesome actor. I'd love to see him in some movie roles
I always thought Troy Baker was like the young version of Nolan North, as he seems to have taken over the role of voicing at least one character in every single game.
Then I found out Troy Baker is about 40 years old! He's got some good genes.
@Bad-MuthaAdebis at least you don't need to worry about bad acting with these two. Not to take for granted in many games
I guess I should start paying attention to this then, huh? I think Ive been blowing it off as another MMO which I dont play, but yhese 2 sre making it sound like a real game. Better go read up.
@ShogunRok Baker's in his 40s? Whoa! Never would've guessed it.
And may I point out that they're wearing similar shirts to their video game counterparts (Delsin and Nathan)? Someone pointed that out somewhere and I found that quite strange...but still awesome.
I would be pretty disappointed if Troy Baker didn't at least get to audition for TLoU film. I know he's only 38 but that's easily fixed with make up, prosthetics etc.He IS Joel. Failing that, Josh Brolin would be good.
@hadlee73 Kain, the Scion of Balance, The Saviour of Nosgoth is the best voice in gaming in my opinion too. The level of voice acting in the Legacy of Kain games is amazing (or was until all this Nosgoth business happened - FU Square Enix).
@Jaz007 Yeah, Troy is definitely channeling his best Delsin impression.
@Mr0303 Yea I wish we could get another LoK game! Man I loved that series! And I agree that was some of the best voice acting in a game, especially at that time.
