That series is probably dead though, PS3 was still really struggling when the last Siren came out and I thought Sony did an awful job with it. The game is great, but it should've gotten a full retail release that was actually marketed. Sony didn't do any of that, at least not in North America anyway.

Also I think Until Dawn will be a virtual reality headset exclusive so pretty much no reason for me to care since I don't plan on buying that thing. Even if it wasn't, Supermassive's 'illustrious' history doesn't instill confidence.

In order to have a good horror video game, you have to mix it with suspense as well as pop scares. It's really the suspense that gets to you in a horror game. The developers for Outlast knew how to create suspense and at the same time make you jump. People want that atmosphere of horror filled with a huge amount of suspense and jumping out of their seats. To put it in easier terms, people want that anxiety at the same time they are pissing themselves.

so, the big reveal for PS4 is another PS3 port? Look, I loved the Tomb Raider port, I'm loving some of the ps3 titles i never got to play such as Flower, The Last of Us, looking forward to playing GTAV, and Journey, but right now it feels like there are more multigenerational games on PS4 than new generation games...and for Gamescom's big reveal is a port? That isn't right, especially when we have Guerrilla Games and Media Molecule and other Sony developers working on unannounced titles...

Chillax Until Dawn was cancelled for PS3, revamped for PS4, which is likely to the be the story. Just like Ryse.

@Punished_Boss true, I didn't realize that, i don't know much about the game and the article refers to it as a "previously announced PlayStation 3 exclusive"
Either way, I'm just not that interested in the game in general. Suppose thats why I am mostly disappointed if this is all Sony has to offer at Gamescom...

@drumsandperc92 I think its one of the games that will be playable or on demo. I think best to see Gamescom reveals as a glimpse of whats coming (talking about games) .
They probably will reveal a couple more new games but they could be showing a dozen games in the works people would not be happy when they learn those games are not coming in the next few month. I wouldnt mind though

Gonna be a boring, bandwagon-jumping horror game. First Amnesia, then Outlast...and now we have Alien Isolation and this game cashing in. What's with these soulless cash-in games? They need to stop copying each other and actually innovate. This whole genre is turning into COD...same game over and over again. Games shouldn't be made unless they innovate something that's never ever been done ever before....AM I RIGHT?

This looks so tight. It looks like u play a victim in a Jason movie. Thats a cool concept. Clock Tower for PS1 had a serial killer u had to escape from, but it was far from the way this looks. This will be good when does the game launch?
