It's not often that you hear of an indie game getting a physical release, but that's exactly what's happening with Rain Games' Teslagrad. Speaking on its official Facebook account, the developer stated that it's teamed up with SOEDESCO Benelux in order to bring a boxed copy of the title to store shelves.
What's more, the studio confirmed that the painterly platformer will also be making the leap onto PlayStation 4, as well as the already confirmed PlayStation 3 and Vita releases. Obviously indie platformers are a dime a dozen these days, but this particular game's unique style and fetching visuals have definitely caught our eye. Oh, and we suspect that this will be a fairly limited retail run, so investing in the fancy box may prove to be quite a valuable decision down the line.
What do you make of Teslagrad? Do its distinctive visuals have you intrigued, or are you suffering from indie puzzle platformer fatigue? Scream and shout in the comments section below.

An indie game with a physical release. So, does that make it a proper game now?
Psn store ps4 genre filters
Indie platformer
Everything else
I always like to physically own things so I'm interested in this as long as it's a sensible price. I'm very much a champion of indie games and this looks like it has a lovely style.
@MadchesterManc
Never! It's just an indie game in a boxed package!
Okay, so now this will be like $20...
@Punished_Boss Damn. Close, but no cigar Sony. One day they will fool everyone with a boxed indie game
@XFsWorld That price is probably spot on. The Ps4 release of Putty Squad was about £15-£18 new when it launched & thats pretty much an indie release too
Let me guess Europe only ? I bet.
