"Here doggy"

Did you think that you’d need to wait an age for your next glimpse at From Software’s impending PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne? With the release still seemingly on track for an early 2015 release, the Japanese studio has revealed that the spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls will be on display at GamesCom next month – and attendees will get to go hands-on with the gothic affair.

“There we can gauge firsthand the reaction to the game," producer Jun Yoshino enthusiastically told Digital Spy. The title was on display at E3 in June, but Sony opted to present it privately to the press behind closed doors. One sneaky glimpse of the affair did leak, which has heightened enthusiasm ahead of next month’s big show.

The event itself is set to run from 13th August, and Sony has already promised that there will be other surprises on display. Media Molecule, Guerrilla Games, and various other first-party outfits have unannounced projects that they could unveil – but who’s your money on?
