Looking mice

We know that Sony said that it would be putting a bigger focus on indies, but we didn't think that it'd deliver on that promise in such a big way. Indeed, it seems that we can't go a day without another announcement of a new title making its way to the Japanese giant's hardware. And while we certainly appreciate the flood of content, our poor typing fingers are starting to get sore.

The latest example of this trend is MouseCraft, a Steam Greenlight puzzler that will be landing on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita on 8th July in North America and 9th July in Europe. Crunching Koalas, the outfit behind the title, promises that its debut outing will combine the best elements of Tetris and Lemmings to create a puzzle experience that'll really test your wits. What's more, the game will feature a level editor, and will be both cross-buy and cross-save compatible.

To be honest, we've not really seen enough of the title to be making any real judgement calls at this point, but the fact that the studio picked itself such a deliciously silly name is giving us a lot of hope. What do you make of the puzzler's debut trailer? Are you brimming with excitement, or is the recent flood of indie titles going to pass you by? Let us know in the comments section below.
