inFAMOUS: Second Son may lack the electrical superpowers of its predecessors, but that’s not stopped it from amping up the excitement surrounding the PlayStation 4. Industry publication MCV reports that sales of Sony’s next-gen system surged by 106 per cent in the UK last week, which was no doubt partially propelled by the availability of actual stock at most retailers.
While it’s borderline impossible to garner anything meaningful from this statistic, it’s safe to assume that the Japanese giant sold some systems on the back of Sucker Punch’s superhero sequel. In fact, some pundits speculate that it’s actually already reclaimed its place at the top of the British hardware charts – a position that it’s likely to hold onto until supply inevitably runs dry again. Did you pick up your PS4 alongside protagonist Delsin Rowe's open world escapade? Let us know in the comments section below.

Got this game today. At first I wasn't that impressed, if I'm gonna be honest here. But, I will admit, after playing it a couple hours it's got its meat hooks in me. I need to put it down so I can pop in MGSV GZ, but I don't think that's happening any time tonight lol.
Ughh, I hate this! I still need to finish Zelda Link Between Worlds, and I was planning on starting Final Fantasy X (Vita) sometime too. And I'd like to finish Rayman Legends at some point, and I just got Yoshi's New Island, and I just started Bravely Default, and I'm still doing time trial runs in DKC Tropical Freeze, AND... AND I just ordered 10 new Vita games from Amazon (backlog games that I've been meaning to buy for a while, like Ninja Gaiden, Y's and Muramasa). ANNNNNDDDD, I've still got 20+ Wii U games I need to get back to like Deus Ex, Darksiders 2 and Zelda Windwaker. It never ends, the backloggery just keeps inflating
@JaxonH I can confirm that it gets better, too!
@get2sammyb
Ya, so I've been told. Gamer83 messaged me on PS4 saying how much he loved it... it's good. Much better than I was expecting. At first, idk it just didn't grab me. But yes, it does get better. I'm VERY much enjoying this game. Glad I bought it
Yet another win for Jaxon as he tries new games (I love trying new games. I just went on a 3DS eShopping spree last night- bought 11 indie/VC games, most of them games I'd never usually be interested in like Pokemon Battle Trozei and Art of Balance Touch... also went on a Vita shopping spree, got 10 games on the way, most of them franchises I've never tried)
Infamous is freaking sweet dude. Once you get going you just can't stop. You know a game is good when your girlfriend starts with the "I think your gaming addiction is becoming unhealthy" bs.
I confirm the game is not great for first 5 minutes
Well I used to judge a game for first 10 minutes and this is awful
But well he got ash power its getting more and more interesting
@JaxonH wow
I still have too little time to even finish my shin musou gundam (have to finish in today or 2moro). Fortunately I finish contrast already, but ffx and second son (and 2moro got project diva2nd) I barely have no time to play em all
How could you even start all your games amuse me lol
I won't be able to play Second Son until at least 2015 and that's being optimistic. I guess I can get a PS4 by November if I get a second job, but that would eat up the little free time I have.
@tenderbeefcake You play games and have a girlfriend? You must be some sort of wizard!!
@BornOfEvil I'll one up you on that. My wife loves playing infamous =P makes it hard to play around each other without spoiling anything though!
@ztpayne7 infamous co op would be mind blowing, three or four people vaporising Seattle. Yes please.
All I have left in Infamous Second Son is Paper trail and then I can go back to waiting on DLC
Bought the Collector's Edition. Thankfully Sucker Punch delivered what I wanted, the game doesn't reinvent the genre but it is enaging just like the first two. My one criticism would be repetitive side missions, but the gameplay is so fun I never got bored of chasing the 'dupes' from each district. I still have a few story missions left, looking forward to seeing how this wraps up (good ending).
