Two of last week’s big new releases did not inject much enthusiasm into the UK sales charts. Lost Planet 3 got off to a dismal start, digging itself into 26th position. Meanwhile, the latest title from Grasshopper Manufacture mustered an even more disappointing debut, with Killer Is Dead loosening its tie in 28th position.
European publisher Deep Silver will be dissatisfied with the performance of the latter, but at least its other recent release Saints Row IV is still riding high in the number one spot. The sandbox adventure fought off competition from Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to maintain its seat at the summit.
Elsewhere, Rayman Legends put in a more promising first week, finishing up in sixth, while Madden NFL 25 actually beat out its spherical sporting companion, arriving above FIFA 13 in seventh. Disney Infinity, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and Payday 2 rounded out the top-ten. You can peruse the full rundown through here.

Fifa 14? From preorders only? I haven't played a Fifa game since 2005 on PSone.
@belmont Sorry, typo. Have fixed that.
@get2sammyb Well that is even stranger. Why buy Fifa 13 some days before the release of Fifa 14 even if it is cheap?
Too bad lost planet is down so low, I don't think the game itself is bad
I'm glad to see Saints Row IV doing well.
@belmont I haven't play one, since Fifa 99

Yup, good to see the game performing well in the UK, hopefully the same will be true here in NA. I have to admit the game flew a little under the radar for me, I loved the first 3 but looked at this as more of a glorified DLC, that's not the case at all. I'm about 3/4 of the way through and it's been a blast.
@Gamer83 - Yeah, alot of people have been comparing it to DLC. If those people would give it a chance they would see that isn't the case. I thought it was alot of fun.
@Splat
I think the confusion happened because Enter the Dominatrix was announced as DLC for SR 3 then disappeared and not too long after that SR IV shows up. Fortunately none of that stuff seems to be effecting the game's sales too much though.
