The horror of Resident Evil 6 may still be fresh in your memories, but Sony is aiming to transport you back to a happier time with its latest North American PlayStation Plus update. Starting tomorrow, subscribers will be able to download the tropical Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for free. The updated release includes two additional episodes on top of the main campaign, one of which features series veteran Jill Valentine.
As previously advertised, members will also be able to purchase the digital version of Portal 2 and its In Motion DLC at a reduced price for a limited period. Furthermore, cel-shaded brawler When Vikings Attack will be available at 30 per cent off, while Absolute Supercars will be discounted to just $7.99.

I all ready have RE5.
@Splat
Me too. I actually have 2 copies of it since I had to buy the gold edition in order to use the Move controls. At least I can sell my gold edition now just like I did with Borderlands goty.
@Splat yay, same, the PS+ selection lately has been alil bland, sadly
I too think that even if the ps+ game selection has big games, we either own them or have played before on ps3 or pc. Nevertheless, RE5 is one of the best games out there and for a newcomer, worth the admission on its own. One of the best coop games too.. excellent opportunity for friends to have fun from afar.
Good addition and another reason why PS Plus continues to provide some of the best value for your dollar in the business. Wish MS' gold service offered half as much.
I have no interest in RE5 but good to see a real game in there none-the-less. I'll take advantage of the When Vikings Attack discount as it looks like a good game to play with my kids.
