Using the right weapon is an important part of any shooter, but in most games the tactics boil down to simply selecting the right class. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier promises to take things a little further, by giving you access to millions of potential weapon combinations in its Gun Smith mode. Here you can combine a vast array of components in order to construct unique weapon types of your own.
The feature is highlighted in a brand new trailer starring former Navy SEAL sniper Richard "Mack" Machowicz. In the footage, Mack highlights the importance of selecting the right weapon and equipment configurations to get the job done. Personally, we wouldn't argue with him.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is due out on 22nd May on PlayStation 3.

Can you create rocket snipers and minigun shotguns? Creation is meaningless if that creation isn't creative.
