South Park: The Game promises to depict the stuggles associated with fitting in.

We don't think anybody expected Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian Entertainment to be working on South Park: The Game. But it is, and the first details of which have emerged. The RPG promises to depict the struggles associated with being a new kid on the block. Characters will be completely customisable, with a variety of classes on offer — wizard, paladin, adventurer, rogue and more.

The story will open with players participating in a live-action role playing game, which eventually evolves into a real adventure. The combat system will mimic Paper Mario, while the weapon augmentation will resemble Final Fantasy's popular Materia set-up.

Perhaps most importantly, creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker promise the game will be funny. We're not big South Park fans, but maybe this game will change that.

You can learn more about the title in the latest issue of Game Informer magazine.
