Both devices are thematically similar, where the player gestures with a controller and has their actions represented on the screen.
But Rohde reckons that's where the similarities end, using Sports Champions Table Tennis game as a point of debate.

I think we showed very well that you can get that top spin or slice in there and it really feels like youre playing a Table Tennis game. Also, because of the camera, the PS Eye, we add that whole element of augmented reality. And I think thats a big advantage we have over what the Wii has done to date.</blockquote>
Rohde believes that the improved functionality of the Move, and greater technology of the Playstation 3 will drive Wii consumers to the Playstation 3.

Thats definitely an audience that were targeting.
One of the beauties of the PS3 with the whole ad campaign, It Only Does Everything, theres a lot to that. It could mean that a lot of families bring it into the house because its a Blu-ray player, and [Move] is just another reason for them to bring it into the house.</blockquote>
Exciting times then for Playstation owners. Lets hope Sony can deliver with Move's software lineup, as the marketing and hardware certainly appears to be in place.
