Some one has to bring PS3 games to PS4 and PS5. Gosh i wish Sony would bring Resistance and Motorstorm. I would day one buy those at full price.

@HonestHick I have a feeling that a PS3 emulator could show up on the PS6 as they been doing a lot work with it in recent years, so who knows 🤞 Unless you meant remasters/remakes

Add Infamous and Killzone to that list

$30 for the full-game or $60 for both is a much better deal, and rather reasonable, than $70 or $140 at full price. Unless you're only buying for the campaign, you basically need to get the season pass and get the extra MP and Zombie maps at this point.

So $30 for the each full game, DLC included, is much better than $70, considering than people wanting the complete game is probably to play online.

But are these really just ports, not even a resolution upgrade? If they are still 1080p or lower the forget what I said, $30 and even $20 is too much to ask for these games.

Pleasantly surprised at the price. £26 for either game with the season pass isn’t too bad.

Are there any improvements at all, like framerate or Resolution boosts or are they entirely the PS3 versions?

Sort of abysmal not including the DLC but i’m guessing it’s to maintain parity with Xbox, which already had them with BC and so you had to buy the DLC. Would like to see these hit PS Plus at some point.

The run up to PS6 is going to be really interesting to see people speak of, as there’s a whole lot people seem to really not be aware of.

Everyone who canceled their PS Plus subscription to protest the all digital future will still get this discount since the cancellation only takes effect at the end date of their current subscription.

Of course they find a way to make years old games as expensive as possible again. I'm so tired of the greed. 🙄

@Don Though I would question why someone would cancel PS Plus in uproar over lack of physical games after 2028, to then go on to make a digital purchase.

But very true, for those who only stick to their public financial position when faced with a keyboard, it is the case your statement holds true.

Another insight into the pricing practices we will be subject to once Sony eliminate retail competition. Even at a discount, those prices are eye watering for such old games.

Their naming convention reminds me of the (incredibly poor) rebrand of the Xbox right before it fell off the cliff

@Oram77 that would be great if PS6 had that. One thing is for sure, they don’t want to mess around and have nothing worked out for BC on PS6, with physical gone and no word on their plans for how players will use PS4 and PS5 discs. They need some pro consumer moves with PS6. Time will tell, it’s a tad early for them to speak to much on PS6. But rest assured if MS states Helix will have a disc drive and use physical media, Sony will release some of its plans for PS6 BC.

Absolutely 100%, that's why I've been holding off on welding the pitch fork, we need the details in FULL on how everything is going to work. I said this couple of times now, but I'm fully behind what Xbox is rumoured to be implementing with the whole disc-to-digital as that would go a long way with gamers (not everyone I know). They also need to improve the store... like a lot, even more if that will become the primary way of purchasing games.

@Oram77 they have an awful refund policy at the moment, so that would need to get way way better. On Xbox you can play the game for a few hours and get a refund, same with steam. Sony would need to match or beat that. I am 100% digital and I have been since the start of PS4/Xbox One, so I am not going to complain much but I like options and I think it stinks for those that like physical media. Tho I’ve been on records on here and Pure saying I think it’s over once it’s a 90/10 spilt. Sony is getting roasted on their socials right now, so at some point you’d think they’d say something, but truth is, PS3 Sony is back and they don’t think anyone will get in their way. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

If they have a 100% off sale, I might download it and maybe check it out. Hard to get excited about a game that came out 15 years ago and being treated like it's currently a big deal. It was ok in 2010, it's trash in 2026.

@Romans12 If you have never played them before and only play on PlayStation, it is a big deal. If you played them and loved them on PS3 and haven't played them since then, it is a big deal.

These should have been free for those of us that bought the digital PS3 versions. Considering that they're the exact same versions. Sony is being exceptionally vile this week.

@DETfaninATL me too, i know that series isn’t the biggest seller. I know the 3rd game kind of fell off of interest but darn it, i loved all 3 games. Mind you i am really only a PS exclusive player. I play all my 3rd party games on Xbox, not cause i think it’s better or anything, i just like the controller better. So for me, i buy a PS3-PS5 and all i get is whatever 1st party titles they have that i like. So i really want these titles to come out. When I bought the PS5 I LOVED Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart so much, i beat it 3 times. Still one of the best looking games on the console in my opinion.

So Resistance for me would be something to really get excited for. Hell I’ll even take it as a live service game if that’s what it takes. I love the enemies in that game.

Reteleasing these without remastering them is ridiculous

While I acknowledge those discounts are nice, it still rubs me the wrong way that Activision is just selling ports of these fairly old games with no visual or QoL upgrades. Then they’re taking away the DLC, only to sell it as a new season pass—for ports of old games!

I can understand why this is still appealing to some but for me, I find it mildly annoying and I’m ok passing.

Can't believe they released them with multiplayer, instant buy for both and the rest of my summer planned.
I wish they would have done this with the MW2 re-release, that would have been nuts.

Wii U Blops 2 was me and my son's fave to play together. Haven't played it since WiiU taken offline. This is a no brainer at £24, complete with dlc using discount. Yay!!!

So people are cancelling their subscriptions and I was one of them , they are killing off physical games and now have the audacity to charge that for DIGITAL copies when you can literally buy them each for about £1-4 at CEX physically.......

Was on a gaming hiatus when these originally released. I assume they ran in 30fps and in this release it will be the same ?

Can someone explain why this has happened as if this is a straight port of the PS3 games then how has this happened as we can only stream PS3 at the moment plus the fact that u need to buy it again even if u already bought it digitally on PS3 is appalling and don't get me started in the dlc.it should've been the 2 games with all the dlc as one bundle
