Solo Leveling: Arise officially launched on 8th May, 2024 for iOS, Android, and PC platforms. However, developer Netmarble has promised that a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version will follow in 2026. There's no plans for a PS4 release right now.

Renamed Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, this version of the game will shed the free-to-play systems from the original mobile release, and will repackage the release as a premium experience.

This means all of the gacha mechanics from the mobile edition will be removed, with a more natural progression focused on gameplay.

Development producer Kim Gwang Hoon explained:

“What we would like to emphasise first and foremost is that Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive is a full-package game. Rather than relying on randomness when recruiting Hunters or crafting weapons, we’ve designed the game to reward effort and strategy, allowing you to feel a true sense of achievement. All the Hunters, Sung Jinwoo and their weapons, and the joy of progression can be earned and enjoyed entirely through in-game play.”
