Black Adam is a relatively unknown comic book character. He's a morally ambiguous anti-hero figure with impressive powers. Imbued with these abilities by a mysterious wizard named Shazam, he can call upon powers such as great physical strength and stamina, vast amounts of knowledge, flight, super-speed, lightning, and more. The character has become much more popular following the release of a big-budget movie in 2022, in which Dwayne Johnson plays Black Adam.

Lightning Surge

- Black Adam unleashes a surge of electric power that launches enemies horizontally and applies SHOCKED.
Might of Kahndaq

- A COMBO of punches ending in a GRAB that holds enemies high above Black Adam's head before slamming them into the ground behind him.
Call the Heavens

- Black Adam pulls his hands apart, generating an arc of electricity above himself that can hit enemies multiple times. Summons lightning down from the sky above Black Adam, making him ELECTRIFIED.
Grounded Blast

- Black Adam slams a burst of electricity into the ground that emerges moments later, striking all grounded enemies. The burst can also emerge from WALLS if an enemy is nearby. Black Adam can CHARGE the slam to force it to emerge faster and increase its size and power.

Thunder Clap

Soaring Rage

Flying Roundhouse

- Black Adam CHARGES a roundhouse kick. The end of the kick has a SWEETSPOT that launches enemies in the opposing direction.

Aton's Havoc
- Input

- Description
- Black Adam releases a lightning tether PROJECTILE to GRAB enemies, damaging them repeatedly and applying SHOCKED before tossing them either up or down. When the lightning hits a target, it searches for nearby targets jumping to them to repeat the move in a chain of electric attacks. CHARGING the attack extends the length the lightning will travel. The lightning can be angled up or down slightly on release. Allies will extend the chain and become ELECTRIFIED. PROJECTILES will extend the chain and become temporarily STOPPED.
Zehuti's Foresight

- Description
- Black Adam dashes forward and is followed by a bolt PROJECTILE. This bolt will REFLECT off the forcefield generated by Black Adam's Grounded Down Special. AMMO applies to the bolt.
Heru's Flight

- Black Adam briefly gains the ability to fly in any direction.
Shu's Protection

- Description
- Black Adam generates an electromagnetic forcefield that pushes enemies away and BLOCKS enemy PROJECTILES, but not HEAVY PROJECTILES, from entering. The forcefield expires after a brief period or once it has taken enough hits. COOLDOWN applies.

How Do You Win as Black Adam in MultiVersus?
Black Adam is a Bruiser, so is mainly all about dishing out damage with hard hitting attacks. His moveset is somewhat unusual, though, and it might take some practice before you can make the most of it.
His standard melee combo ends with the enemy thrown to his back rather than away from his front. You can use this to quickly move an enemy around, potentially off the stage, but it's tricky to continue a combo. His neutral attack hits hard and is great for getting ringouts, but it does take a second to charge up.
There's a lot of potential in all his lightning-based attacks. His up attack is powerful at close range with the bolt of lightning sending enemies flying, while his side special can catch foes off-guard with its unusual behaviour. Black Adam's side special has a long reach and pulls enemies towards him, so you can use that to start some punishing combos.
