Gems are a resource exclusive to MultiVersus' single player and co-op PvE mode Rifts which are used to buff all of your characters and give them unique advantages. Depending upon which Gems you have equipped, this will include offensive and defensive enhancements, as well as unique skills like the ability to automatically dodge or attacks or fire enlarged projectiles.

Gems are available in three different styles: Chaos, Digital, and Horror. Each node in each Rift will be assigned a specific category, and you can only use the associated Gems in those gauntlets. What Are the Best Gems to Use in MultiVersus?

MultiVersus: All Gems and How to Level Them Up 5
Image: Push Square

It's difficult to determine a definitive list of best Gems to use in MultiVersus, as it'll largely depend upon which character you're using, which enemy you're facing, and what type of node you're fighting in. We'd recommend always using your highest level Gems, as you'll get the greatest statistical boosts from these. You should also consider your character's strengths and weaknesses: if they don't use projectiles, then there's very little point using the Giant Projectiles buff. Consider the scenario carefully, and mix and match your Gems to get the most out of the situation.
