Marvel's Spider-Man 2: Howard

Howard is an optional Mission taken from the FNSM App Requests in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. As part of our Marvel's Spider-Man 2 guide, we're going to reveal everything you need to know about Howard. Finishing it unlocks the A New Adventure Trophy.

Walkthrough

You'll find this FNSM App Request in the southwest corner of the Financial District, where Howard — a returning character from the first game — is standing at the docks. Sit down and talk to him, and when he points out the yellow skipper with the black bottom, look at it to your left. Howard will then point out the three chimneys, which are off in the distance to your right on the other side of the water. Finally, look at the Statue of Liberty all the way off to the left.

Howard will then ask you to take his flock of pigeons up north, and you can get their attention first with a Whistle on the Triangle button. You must then swing to the objective marker with the pigeons accompanying you, letting them see the sights of New York. When you reach the water, deploy your Web Wings and enter the Wind Tunnel.

You'll eventually reach a park in Downtown Queens where Peter lets the pigeons roam free, and then the game will automatically transport you back to where you met Howard. He's been put into an ambulance, so go and see what's happened. He's tragically passed away, and then the Mission ends.
