This task begins in the record shop, which will be accessible when you're freely exploring Haven. Enter the shop and the Hoodie Guy will be looking through the vinyl in the breakup section. Interact with him to learn that Chrissy has left him. Alex assumes he's referring to a girl and suggests finding something to cheer him up, but it's actually his dog. Interact with the Bulletin Board on the opposite side of the room so that Alex can also realise Chrissy is a dog. Return to Hoodie Guy and Alex will tell him she thinks Chrissy is at Todd's Hardware, at which point the Found Dog! Trophy will unlock.
