To the Burning Shores: Walkthrough

Once you've been contacted by Sylens over the phone, you'll be asked to travel to Tilda's Mansion, which is on the western side of the map, south of Thornmarsh. Sylens will be waiting for you on the balcony, so head out and speak to him. At the end of the conversation you'll have to make a decision. Select To the Burning Shores to travel tot he new location. When you retake control, you'll have to deal with a bunch of Widemaws and Burrowers, so be prepared for a baptism of fire.

Follow Seyka after the cutscene, and climb aboard her skiff. After a long sequence of cutscenes, take time to speak with Seyka and learn more about her, the Quen clan you've just met, and her plan. You can now take a little bit of time to chat with the Quen at Fleet's End or even explore the new area using Seyka's skiff. Speak with Theoa to begin The Splinter Within. Once you're ready, head to the objective marker across the bridge.

After speaking with Seyka, follow the trail to the Tower. There's an Ancient Valuables chest you can shoot down along the way, as well as a Waterwing you can loot. Beware of the Stingspawn Eggs that will hatch along the way. Once you get around the corner, you'll come face-to-face with another new Machine: a Bilegut.

Once you've dealt with all the Machines, continue to follow Seyka by climbing into the building. Once you reach a dead end, use your Pullcaster to break a whole in the roof. You can select it by aiming and then pressing Triangle. Keep climbing up. There's some Brimshine on the ledge next to a downed Waterwing along the way, just when you briefly get outside and climb the outside of the building.

Once you reach the top of the tower, climb the wall directly on your right. Override the Control Node at the top. Scan the Defence Drone to learn about its Power Core, then go in the building on your left and destroy the Firegleam.

Climb up the tower, and then shoot out the Power Core once you're behind. There's another Power Core on the front of the Defence Drone, and a third on the top. Remove them all. Speak to Seyka to complete To the Burning Shores. This will automatically begin Heaven and Earth.
