Can you play Honkai: Star Rail on PS5 and PS4? The latest game from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse is creating quite a buzz in the gacha gaming community, following its release on 26th April, 2023 for PC and smartphones. But fans have been been wondering if the title will release on PlayStation consoles. As part of our Honkai: Star Rail guide, we're going to confirm if you can play Honkai: Star Rail on PS5 and PS4.

Honkai: Star Rail: Can You Play It on PS5, PS4?

Honkai: Star Rail is officially announced for PS5 and PS4, but its release date is coming later than other platforms. As of the time of writing, HoYoverse has not committed to a target launch window, and will only confirm development is underway and that the turnbased RPG is "coming soon" to Sony's systems. Frustratingly, this means it's difficult to determine exactly how far away the console version is: it could be weeks or it could be months.

Our guess is that it won't take too long for Honkai: Star Rail to release on PS5 and PS4. HoYoverse already has significant experience working with Sony's systems from Genshin Impact, and it knows there's significant money to be made from the PlayStation playerbase. We're confident the ports will launch comfortably in 2023.

However, we'll update this page as soon as we have more information on Honkai: Star Rail's release date for PS5 and PS4. In the meantime, you should be able to get started with your adventure, as the title will almost certainly support cross-progression from PC and mobile when you're logged in using your HoYoVerse account.
