GTA Online: How to Start the Kortz Center Heist

The Kortz Center Heist is the latest, and potentially last, major update for GTA 5 before GTA 6 launches. This is another heist mission, where your objective is to hit the Kortz Center and rob it of precious artwork.

On this page, as part of our GTA Online guide, we're going to explain how to start the Kortz Center Heist.

How Do You Start the Kortz Center Heist in GTA Online?

Before you can start the Kortz Center Heist, you'll need to own a Mansion via the Safehouse in the Hills update.

If you don't have one already, you can find the Best Mansion to Buy through the link.

If you do then load your smartphone's web browser and visit Prix Luxury Real Estate > Renovate > Additional Rooms > Art Studio.

An Art Studio costs GTA$4,700,000.

Once you've paid for an Art Studio, you'll be able to access it on Basement Level 2 via the lift in your Mansion. Enter the Art Studio to trigger a cutscene with Faber.

You'll need to Register as a CEO before interacting with the whiteboard in your Art Studio to start the scouting mission. If you picked the Richman Villa, the Kortz Center is only about a mile away.

Drive to it and park outside, then head past the admission to the rear left part of outdoor terrace area to the art exhibition entrance.

Once inside you'll need to sneak into the staff room on the right, paying close attention to the security camera cones on your minimap to ensure you're not detected.

Take out the guard inside the staff room and upload the AI onto the computer. This will allow you to access the camera feeds so you can find your target on the Vault camera. You'll also be able to find other paintings, which will add to your potential haul.

Before leaving the Kortz Center, you can take photos of all the other paintings on display to get a rough valuation for them. You can also scout out the building itself, looking for other entry points (such as a manhole for access via the sewers).

The mandatory entry point is the Staff Entrance, just behind where you entered the art exhibition.

Once complete, drive back to your Mansion where you'll automatically be taken back to your white board for Prep Missions, including:

• Infiltration Gear
• Unmarked Weapons
• Getaway Vehicle
• Access Code
• Hacking Device

Complete all these, and any optional prep work, to begin the heist. Your first attempt per week will pay significantly higher than subsequent efforts.

Can You Play the Kortz Heist Solo in GTA Online?

Yes you can do it all solo, but do keep in mind this will significantly increase the difficulty of the mission and limit the amount of secondary targets you can scoop during the heist itself.

On the positive side, you won't need to split the spoils with other players, so there are pros and cons to playing alone.
