Vanadis presents a fairly straightforward fight, but the speed of her attacks shouldn't be underestimated. She's an especially agile opponent, who fires a bow from range, and relies on quick sword combos up close.

As with most humanoid bosses in the game, beating Vanadis is all about correctly reading her movements. Her aforementioned arrows are reasonably easy to avoid, but she can quickly close in when you're busy doing so. Needless to say, you need to stay on your toes, and whatever you do, try not to lose sight of her.

One of the biggest problems with Vanadis is her unblockable slam, that happens after she zips into the air. It deals big damage if it hits, so be ready to roll away at a moment's notice.

Things get a little trickier when the battle expands to a new arena. In this phase, Vanadis will start poisoning parts of the ground, giving you another threat to worry about as you block, dodge, and parry her sword and bow strikes. Again, it's all about being aware of where she is and what she's doing.

The best way to actually get in on Vanadis is to correctly parry some of her sword attacks. If she keeps committing to close-range blows, you can easily take chunks out of her health bar after a well-timed parry or two, before launching a combo, ideally complete with a powerful runic attack.
