At the hideaway, medicine is in constant short supply, but botanist Nigel is of a mind to change that. If he can get his hands on several samples of morganbeard — a rare flower renowned for its curative properties — he plans to cultivate his own in the backyard... or at least try to.

The Root of the Problem: Walkthrough

The Root of the Problem begins when you speak to Nigel, Head Botanist. He will ask you to gather some particular flowers in order to improve the Hideaway's medicine.

Fast travel to Martha's Rest. When you get there, head west towards Sorrowise, following the marker. Once you reach the area, look around for the morganbeard flowers, which are marked onscreen. You'll need to deal with some goblins in the area first.

Once you've picked the flowers from all three patches, fast travel back to the Hideaway. Speak to Nigel to end the quest.

Objective Log

  • Search northern Rosaria for morganbeards
  • Obtain several morganbeards
  • Deliver the morganbeards to Nigel in the hideaway
