Onward to Discovery is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 16, located in Boklad. It first appears during the Main Quest named Onward. As part of our Final Fantasy 16 guide, we're going to explain everything you need to know about Onward to Discovery.

Onward to Discovery: Overview

Type	Description
Side Quest	An excitable scholar of Dzemekian history hires Clive to watch over him while he investigates some ruins near Boklad, then promptly disappears before his newly hired bodyguard can so much as blink.

Onward to Discovery begins when you speak to Jachym in Boklad. He'll ask you to keep guard while he investigates some ruins.

Follow the marker to catch up with Jachym. As you get close, you'll see he's surrounded by bandits. Defeat them.

Bandits Spoils:

Watch the cutscene. Jachym heads off again, so follow him by heading towards the next marker. When you get there, defeat the group of goblins.

Goblins Spoils:

Watch another cutscene. Once again, follow Jachym to another location. You'll be up against some Fallen enemies this time.

Fallen Spoils:

Watch one more cutscene, which ends the quest.
